The problem
Alderline has 210 internal policies, several written before the current team joined. Staff asked compliance the same questions weekly, and each answer had to be checked by hand.
What changed
The policy library became the only source Ostler reads for compliance questions. Each answer carries numbered citations, and the audit log records who asked.
Compliance now spends its time on the questions that need judgement, and the routine ones answer themselves.
The result
Policy reviews take a third of the time. Auditors get an export of questions and cited answers instead of screenshots.
